Jonathan M. Siderits | Associate
Practice Areas: Categories: Mechanical/Aerospace, Patents
Jon Siderits is an Associate in the firm’s Mechanical Practice Group, with a focus on patent preparation and prosecution, patentability searches and opinions, and patent infringement litigation and licensing opportunities. Jon started at Wood Herron & Evans as a co-op while he was an undergraduate student in mechanical engineering, and continued at the firm as a law clerk during his legal studies. Prior to joining the firm, he gained valuable experience and insight into the inventive process by working on a machine shop floor and assisting in prototype design. While a law student, Jon enhanced his intellectual property expertise by frequently contributing IP-centered articles to the University of Cincinnati Law Review and by serving as Editor-in-Chief of the University of Cincinnati Intellectual Property and Computer Law Journal. A big fan of mountain air, he once successfully completed a “thru-hike” of the Appalachian Trail from Maine to Georgia, and still enjoys exploring the great outdoors whenever possible. Jon and his wife, Tricia, currently reside in Milford, Ohio.
