Alexander S. Czanik is an Associate with Wood Herron & Evans who concentrates his practice in patent law, specifically relating to the preparation, prosecution, and enforcement of domestic and international patent applications. Alex has experience in a variety of technology areas including medical devices, fluid dispensers, wind turbines, aircraft systems and engines, locking devices, flooring applications, and material transfer systems. He began at Wood Herron & Evans as a law clerk the summer before his third year of law school. During engineering, Alex co-oped at a global consumer products company in their Computer Modeling & Simulation, Plant Engineering, and Intellectual Property R&D Departments. During his second year of law school, Alex interned at a global aircraft engine manufacturer in their Intellectual Property Legal Department. During his fall 2013 semester, Alex externed with Judge Michael R. Barrett of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Alex currently lives in Hyde Park and enjoys playing tennis in his free time.
